About Us

 The Hudson Valley has been home to Homestead Farm for 200 +/- years.  These 131 acres have raised milk, cows, apples, eggs, beef cattle , and now sheep.  

The fiber from the sheep is processed into some of the beautiful yarns and rovings we have in the shop.  Dyeing is an inexact science and our efforts have resulted in  some delightful surprises.  

The use of cotton fabric has developed into an original line of handmade products, including aprons, table runners, pin cushions, coasters, ponchos, baby blankets, placemats, decorative items, etc.

Handmades  include knitted and crocheted ponchos, hats, 

baby blankets, scarves, etc.  Most are one of a kind.

The sheep continue to prosper in our care.  

Blackie, the farm pet & unofficial greeter, loves visitors and apples.
